In addition, the Summit will highlight a roadmap of further development of Eastern Cardiology Societies through the work on the unique publication, the Compendium of Eastern Countries Cardiology Societies. Both ESC President Professor Thomas Luscher and ESC President-Elect Professor Cecilia Linde, will be present at the Summit.

This will be presented at the interactive and clinically-oriented means providing to the participants updated cardiology knowledge, essential for the optimal treatment of their patients. Dynamic and direct approach, fostered by multimedia presentations will enable participants to apply the acquired information instantly in the clinical practice.

Many of the significant projects in European cardiology, led by Serbian cardiologists, came to fruition: European HF Survey, Central Eastern Europe QCC project and STRATIFYHF megaproject, and these results will be presented at CardioS. To improve the participant’s clinical skills, two training sessions will be organized: echocardiography workshop, and cardiac magnetic resonance workshop.

FIVE GOOD REASONS NOT TO MISS CARDIOS 2026

TIME TRAVEL THROUGH CARDIOS

The rapid and constant growth of CardioS was the result of careful monitoring of the news in world cardiology and heart failure. The dynamic introduction of novelties in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases is clearly seen in the progress of the CardioS Program over time. It is also an indicator of the successful integration of Serbian cardiology into world trends, which is manifested through the presentation of European projects carried out by Serbian cardiologists.

The innovative character of CardioS and the connection with the courses of the European Association of Cardiologists enables a very good and complete education of Serbian cardiologists. CardioS 2025 was marked by the European Congress on heart failure, which was being held in Belgrade, while CardioS 2026 will host the first ESC Summit of Eastern European Cardiology Societies
