Warmhearted welcome to the XXIII International Congress of Clinical cardiology and heart failure CardioS 2025, which will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Belgrade, on March 21st-22nd, 2025.
CardioS 2025 is jointly organized by the Heart Failure Society of Serbia, Belgrade University School of Medicine, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and Heart Failure Association of European Society of Cardiology.
We would like to stress special favor of CardioS 2025 because this year Belgrade will be again a proud host of Heart Failure Association of the ESC Annual Meeting, which will take place on May 17-20th, 2025 in the renewed Congress Center Sava. The President of the Congress is Academician Petar M. Seferovic, the President of Heart Failure Society of Serbia. In addition, since Professor Seferovic is elected this year as a Chair, Task Force for Eastern countries of the European Society of Cardiology, we expect the participation of the more than 7000 participants Europe-wide.
Continuing its long-standing tradition CardioS 2025 will feature the newest novelties in European and global cardiology, including the promotion of the European Society of Cardiology Guidelines in several areas. In particular, the level of the scientific achievements will be highlighted by the numerous promotion of the ESC TextBook on Heart Failure in several European Cardiology Societies.
The interactive, innovative and clinically-oriented profile of CardioS 2025 will allow all participants to acquire the cardiology knowledge essential for the optimal treatment of the patients. Once again, dynamic and direct approach, foster by multimedia presentations will enable participants to apply the acquired information instantly in the clinical practice.
CardioS 2025 will provide to the participants two Illustrated Guides of the Heart Failure Society of Serbia, which will facilitate the decision making process in the complex clinical case. Furthermore, the newest results from the several long-standing projects will be presented such as: Central Eastern Europe QCC project, HFA OBSERVE Survey and STRATIFYHF megaproject. In order to enhance the participant's practical skills, the three training sessions will be organized: echocardiography workshop, cardiac magnetic resonance workshop and cardio pulmonary exercise workshop.
The keynote lecture of CardioS 2025 will be delivered by the Professor Michael Bohm, the Editor-in-chief of European Journal of Heart Failure. Professor Bohm is the winner of the year's Gold Medal of the Serbian Society of Heart Failure and the honorary guest of the Congress.
The Serbian Medical Chamber accredited CardioS 2025 with 15 CME points for the lecturers and 10 CME points for the participants.
